JT · Awareness × Performance

You are not losing because of your swing. You never were.

Mental performance mentoring for competitive golfers — for the players whose range game is already there, and whose scorecard has stopped showing it.

I help College & Tour Pros drop 2-4 shots WITHOUT swing changes by fixing the internal software.

01 / Diagnosis

You already know what it feels like to lose a round you should have won.

The swing was there. The preparation was there. You had done everything right. Then something shifted. One bad shot. One moment of pressure. One thought that should not have mattered — and the player you know you can be was gone.

This is what we call The Execution Barrier — the invisible threshold where your internal programming overrides your physical training. It is not a breakdown of skill. It is a software glitch under pressure.

Four Patterns We Dismantle

Range / Card Divide

You hit it like a pro on the range. The moment a scorecard is in your hand, your body stops feeling natural.

Defensive Trap

You go under par and your system shifts into Survival Mode. You start protecting a number instead of attacking the next shot.

Downward Spiral

One bogey. One bad hole. The rest of the round feels like an unraveling you cannot stop.

Identity Ceiling

You feel lucky when you hit a great shot — instead of knowing it is who you are. Your old identity is acting as a handbrake on your real potential.

That is not a technique problem.

That has never been a technique problem.

Jakob — Mental Performance Mentor

02 / Who I Am

I know what it costs to have the talent — and not the tools.

My name is Jakob. I grew up inside the Austrian football academy system from the age of fifteen. Seven training sessions a week. Coaches who could break down technique to the millimeter. None of them ever taught me what to do inside my head.

I never made it to the top of professional football. But I learned everything about what happens when talent meets pressure and nobody gives you the tools to bridge them. That gap cost me years. I built APS so it does not cost you the same.

Today I play off a handicap of −2 and work out of Dubai with college athletes and tour professionals who have the exact problem I once had — the skill is there, the scorecard is not. Golf is the sport where the mental game has nowhere to hide. There is no team to absorb the pressure. There is no coach walking next to you between shots. Every reaction — to a bad lie, a missed putt, a hostile leaderboard — is yours alone.

I know the exact distance between what you can produce and what ends up on the card. And I know precisely why it exists.

APS - Awareness Performance System

An internal operating system for elite athletes.

Most mental coaching talks about confidence, motivation, and positive thinking. That is not what we do. We treat your mind the way an engineer treats a system: diagnose the bottleneck, install the missing protocol, run it under load.

Your swing is hardware. Your mind is software. You cannot solve a software problem by upgrading the hardware. What elite players run into is not a technique ceiling — it is an operating-system limit.

APS Core Architecture · Three Pillars

+
01

Identity Shift

The Foundation

Most golfers operate from a "decent player who occasionally hits it well" identity. The system performs to that identity. We rebuild the foundation: elite execution becomes the baseline, not the lucky exception. This is where the work starts. Without it, every protocol on top is borrowed.

+
02

Non-Judgmental Awareness

The Filter

We train the ability to observe internal noise — thoughts, fears, body tension, the leaderboard — as raw data, not as identity. The performance equation is simple: P = p − i. Performance equals potential minus interference. Most coaching tries to add. We subtract.

+
03

Systematic Flow

The Output

Flow without chance. The shot is executed through the instinctive system, not the analytical one. You do not "try" to play well. You let the trained body do what it already knows.

The Set & Forget Protocol

The two-second switch.

A three-step sequence that quiets the thinking mind during the most decisive seconds of the round.

1

Anchor

You set the shot. Wind, slope, distance, target. The analytical mind is fully engaged. You commit completely to the plan. Doubt and re-evaluation happen now — or not at all.

2

Execute

You step over the ball. The thinking mind shuts down. The instinctive body executes. No swing thoughts. No "do not" instructions. No interference.

3

Accept

You watch the result without judgment. The shot becomes data, not identity. You return to the present and prepare for the next one. The previous shot is no longer in the round.

This is not a different way of thinking.

It is a different way of seeing.

04 / Cost of Inaction

Ask yourself honestly.

How long have you been performing below what you know you are capable of?
What have you tried to fix it — and why has it not worked?
If nothing changes in the next twelve months, what does that cost you — in ranking, in trophies, in the career you are building?

Three Things You Already Know

+

Tournaments do not return.

Every event you underperform is a missed opportunity that does not come back. The competitive window for elite golf is narrow, and it does not extend itself for anyone.

+

Sponsors and scouts read the pattern.

They do not see talent under pressure. They see inconsistency. And they make their decisions accordingly. The next call rarely comes after the second blow-up.

+

Your mental state is the deciding factor.

Every qualifying event, every round that truly matters — your mental state is what tips the result. Not your swing. Never your swing.

05 / In Practice

What this looks like for players already in the system.

"Six weeks in, I shot the best competitive round of my career — not because I swung differently. Because I finally stopped fighting myself."

— T.M. · Alps Tour
Cindy Junior Elite
The System Failure

At her level, technique was the entry fee. Everyone had it. The differentiator was who could quiet the mind when the leaderboard tightened.

The Fix

We installed the Set & Forget protocol and rebuilt her pre-shot routine from the ground up. The thinking mind was given a job — and a moment to let go.

The Result

She stopped trying to be tougher. She started being more present. The score followed.

Jake College Athlete
The System Failure

Final round of four out of his last five tournaments — Top 10 became Top 25. A single bad hole pushed his system into Survival Mode.

The Fix

We mapped the exact thought-pattern that triggered the spiral and installed a hard-reset protocol — a three-breath anchor tied to a physical cue.

The Result

Scoring average on holes following a bogey dropped by 1.4 strokes within four weeks. The blow-ups stopped.

Langston College Recruit
The System Failure

Three state titles. Range talent in the top percentile. And consistently three to four shots left on the course every round when scouts were watching.

The Fix

His Execution Barrier was identity-driven. He still felt "lucky" when he hit it well. We rebuilt the underlying identity standard before touching anything else.

The Result

He stopped playing like a state champion who got recruited. He started playing like a recruited athlete who knew his level.

06 / How We Work

A precise system. Not a program.

Two phases. Designed sequentially. Access to Phase 02 is granted only following a completed Phase 01 — or a Discovery Audit that establishes a clear fit.

Phase 01

Performance Audit & Pattern Interrupt

$440
2 Sessions

Two focused sessions. This is where we find it. We identify the exact pattern that activates under pressure — the specific moment your internal system overrides your technical skill.

  • Session 01 — Internal Audit. We identify your personal Execution Barrier. Where it activates. What triggers it.
  • Session 02 — Installation. We install the foundational APS framework and your personal Set & Forget anchor.

Most players notice a shift by session two.

Exclusive Phase 03

The Elite Immersion

$75,000
2 Spots Per Year

This is not a coaching program.

I fly to you. I stay for 8 weeks. Every practice session, every tournament round, every moment that matters — I’m there.

This is for the player who has already done the work — technically, physically, competitively — and knows that the last barrier is mental. Not occasionally. Consistently. Under the highest pressure.

We rebuild your mental performance system from the ground up. Live. In real competitive conditions.

  • You cover travel and accommodation.
  • My fee: $75,000.
  • 2 players per year. That’s it.

If this is you.

07 / Compatibility

I work with a small number of golfers. I choose carefully.

This work only produces results when both sides are fully committed. I do not take on players I cannot genuinely help — and that is not a sales statement, it is a structural constraint. Currently 3 to 4 new athletes per month.

Compatible

  • College golfers entering or competing at the university level.
  • Tour professionals on the Asian Tour, Alps Tour, or other competitive tours.
  • Established professionals removing the last mental barriers between where they are and where they know they can go.
  • Players willing to look inward honestly and do the work between sessions.
  • Athletes who measure progress in scorecards, not feelings.

Incompatible

  • Players still looking for a shortcut, a hack, or a quick fix.
  • Players who expect transformation without doing the work between sessions.
  • Players who cannot honestly look inward — or who believe the next swing tweak is the answer.
  • Players whose primary investment in their own game is comfort, not commitment.
  • Recreational golfers, regardless of how serious they consider themselves.

Who is committed has nothing to lose. Who is not — will find that out on their own.

The gap between who you are and who you could be
is not technical. It never was.
