JT · Awareness × Performance

You are not losing because of your swing. You never were.

Mental performance mentoring for competitive golfers whose range game is there and whose scorecard is not. The first change is one only you can see. The card follows, and for college and tour pros as 2-4 shots. No swing changes. A 30-minute call. Together we find where it breaks down.

You cannot break a pattern you cannot see.

01

That is the whole problem, and it is the whole method.

01 / Diagnosis

You already know what it feels like to lose a round you should have won.

The swing was there. The preparation was there. You had done everything right. Then something shifted. One bad shot. One moment of pressure. One thought that should not have mattered, and the player you know you can be was gone. This is what we call The Execution Barrier, the invisible threshold where your internal programming overrides your physical training. It is not a breakdown of skill. It is a software glitch under pressure.

HIGH LOW COMPETITIVE PRESSURE → RANGE POTENTIAL TOURNAMENT EXECUTION EXECUTION BARRIER

Four Patterns We Dismantle

Range / Card Divide

You hit it like a pro on the range. The moment a scorecard is in your hand, your body stops feeling natural.

Defensive Trap

You go under par and your system shifts into Survival Mode. You start protecting a number instead of attacking the next shot.

Downward Spiral

One bogey. One bad hole. The rest of the round feels like an unraveling you cannot stop.

Identity Ceiling

You feel lucky when you hit a great shot, instead of knowing it is who you are. Your old identity is acting as a handbrake on your real potential.

That is not a technique problem.

01

That has never been a technique problem.

02 / Who I Am

I had the talent. That is exactly what stopped me.

My name is Jakob. I grew up inside the Austrian football academy system from the age of fifteen. Seven sessions a week, coaches who broke down technique to the millimeter. They told me things. I did not listen. I believed the talent was the argument, and that whatever anyone said, I knew better. That is why I made no progress, and why I never turned professional. Not for want of coaching. For want of listening. So I know this pattern from the inside, and that you cannot break one you refuse to look at. I give players the one thing I would not take.

Jakob

Today I play off a +2 handicap and work out of Dubai with college athletes and tour professionals who have the exact problem I once had, the skill is there, the scorecard is not. Golf is the sport where the mental game has nowhere to hide. There is no team to absorb the pressure. There is no coach walking next to you between shots. Every reaction — to a bad lie, a missed putt, a hostile leaderboard — is yours alone.

I know the exact distance between what you can produce and what ends up on the card. And I know precisely why it exists.

It is also why I ask to be questioned, and why I only work with players who are willing to do it. If you can tell me I am wrong, you can tell yourself the truth about your own round.

An internal operating system for elite athletes.

Most mental coaching talks about confidence, motivation, and positive thinking. That is not what we do. You cannot control a thought. You can watch it, and step back from it. That is the mechanism. Everything below is built on it. Your swing is hardware. Your mind is software. You cannot solve a software problem by upgrading the hardware. But you are the one running the system, not the machine it runs on. I do not install anything into you while you wait. I show you what your system does under load, you see it, and seeing it is what moves it.

See it. Understand it. Then the technique.

01

Never the other way round.

Most mental coaches hand you a mechanism on day one. Breathe like this. Meditate like that. But what are you breathing for? What are you meditating against, if you do not yet understand your own nervous system? A technique you do not understand is one more instruction to follow, and following instructions is the pattern you are already stuck in.

So the order is fixed. First you see what you actually do under pressure. Then you understand why your system does it. Only then does a technique have something to work on. The three pillars below run in exactly that sequence, and they only work in that sequence.

APS Core Architecture · Three Pillars

The Set & Forget Protocol

The two-second switch. A three-step sequence that quiets the thinking mind during the most decisive seconds of the round.

01

Anchor

You set the shot. Wind, slope, distance, target. The analytical mind is fully engaged. You commit completely to the plan. Doubt and re-evaluation happen now, or not at all.

02

Execute

You step over the ball. The thinking mind shuts down. The instinctive body executes. No swing thoughts. No "do not" instructions. No interference.

03

Accept

You watch the result without judgment. The shot becomes data, not identity. You return to the present and prepare for the next one. The previous shot is no longer in the round.

This is not a different way of thinking.

01

It is a different way of seeing.

04 / Cost of Inaction

Ask yourself honestly.

01

How long have you been performing below what you know you are capable of?

02

What have you tried to fix it, and why has it not worked?

03

If nothing changes in the next twelve months, what does that cost you, in ranking, in trophies, in the career you are building?

Three Things You Already Know

Tournaments do not return.

Every event you underperform is a missed opportunity that does not come back. The competitive window for elite golf is narrow, and it does not extend itself for anyone.

Sponsors and scouts read the pattern.

They do not see talent under pressure. They see inconsistency. And they make their decisions accordingly. The next call rarely comes after the second blow-up.

Your mental state is the deciding factor.

Every qualifying event, every round that truly matters — your mental state is what tips the result. Not your swing. Never your swing.

05 / In Practice

"Six weeks in, I shot the best competitive round of my career, not because I swung differently. Because I finally stopped fighting myself."

06 / How We Work

A precise system. Not a program.

Two phases. Designed sequentially. Access to Phase 02 is granted only following a completed Phase 01, or a Discovery Audit that establishes a clear fit.

Phase 01 · Performance Audit & Pattern Interrupt
Upon Request2 Sessions

Two focused sessions. This is where we find it. We identify the exact pattern that activates under pressure, the specific moment your internal system overrides your technical skill.

  • Session 01, Internal Audit. We identify your personal Execution Barrier. Where it activates. What triggers it.
  • Session 02, Installation. We install the foundational APS framework and your personal Set & Forget anchor.
  • Most players notice a shift by session two.
Recommended
Phase 02 · The Elite Journey
Upon Request24 Sessions · 12 Weeks

Three months of consistent, systematic work. This is where we rewire the internal system permanently, not as theory, but under your actual competitive load.

  • 24 sessions structured around your tournament calendar, twice a week, calibrated to event windows.
  • Real-time WhatsApp telemetry support between rounds and tournaments.
  • Full pre-tournament preparation protocols before every event that matters.
  • Live debrief calls after key competitive rounds.
  • Complete embedding of the APS + Set & Forget architecture into your competitive identity.
  • * Phase 01 investment is credited toward Phase 02.
  • * Payment plans available on request.
  • By the end of 12 weeks, the Execution Barrier is not something you manage. It is something you have left behind.
Phase 03 · The Elite Immersion
Upon RequestExclusive · 2 Spots Per Year

This is not a coaching program. I fly to you. I stay for 8 weeks. Every practice session, every tournament round, every moment that matters, I’m there. This is for the player who has already done the work — technically, physically, competitively — and knows that the last barrier is mental. Not occasionally. Consistently. Under the highest pressure. We rebuild your mental performance system from the ground up. Live. In real competitive conditions.

  • You cover travel and accommodation.
  • My fee: upon request.
  • 2 players per year. That’s it.
  • If this is you.

Investment details are confirmed during the Discovery Audit. Phase 02 access requires either a completed Phase 01 or direct qualification through the Audit.

07 / Compatibility

I work with a small number of golfers. I choose carefully.

This work only produces results when both sides are fully committed. I do not take on players I cannot genuinely help, and that is not a sales statement, it is a structural constraint. Currently 3 to 4 new athletes per month. That number says how many. What follows says which.

Compatible

  • College golfers entering or competing at the university level.
  • Tour professionals on the Asian Tour, Alps Tour, or other competitive tours.
  • Established professionals removing the last mental barriers between where they are and where they know they can go.
  • Players willing to look inward honestly and do the work between sessions.
  • Players willing to question me, and to say so when something is not clear.

Incompatible

  • Players who want to talk about the problem rather than look at it.
  • Players still looking for a shortcut, a hack, or a quick fix.
  • Players who expect transformation without doing the work between sessions.
  • Players who believe the next swing tweak is the answer.
  • Recreational golfers, regardless of how serious they consider themselves.

Who is committed has nothing to lose. Who is not, will find that out on their own.

Three Conditions I Do Not Move On

No technique in session one.

Not a breathing drill, not a meditation, nothing you could follow without knowing what it is against. What are you breathing for, if you do not understand your own nervous system yet? An unexplained technique is one more instruction, and instructions are the pattern you are already in.

The work stays with you.

I do not carry it, and I say so before we start. There are tasks between sessions. If they do not get done, the programme does not get bigger to compensate. You get the same question again.

I do not take a mandate where the method is set for me.

Not by a player, and not by a parent. With a junior athlete the parents are the paying party, so this is the expensive version of that sentence. It stands anyway. Someone who sets the method takes the looking away from the player, and then only instruction is left.

The gap between who you are and who you could be is not technical. It never was.

No pitch. No pressure. Either I can genuinely help, or I cannot. We find out together. 30 minutes · Zoom · Currently 3–4 new athletes per month
